“I’m pretty invested in my Instagram grid. It’s a visual laboratory where I try new things and use it as a showcase of my work. I mean, would you hire a creative consultant if their home was a mess? No. It’s important to remember the business behind the beautiful images. Keep a strategy in mind, know what your brand is, ask what’s the point. If you’re doing it for fame and fortune, you'll only get so far by chasing numbers.“

“Social media is so much more than posting pretty pictures. We can create communities and engage in current issues. If you have a platform, why not use it to express your individuality and start important conversations? I'm often involved in heated discussions about the lack of diversity in the fashion industry—the street style scene tends to hero a certain type of woman and that's a damaging message for young women. We’re certainly moving forward, but there’s a lot more we can do. Let's use Instagram to propel the conversation in the right direction.”

“Instagram has truly changed the shopping game. People now look to influencers for what to buy, where to shop and how to style outfits. I guess it’s because we’re more relatable than a celebrity posing on the red carpet. So it’s important to interact directly with your followers and build that trust. They want to know you’re not simply selling a product; you’re offering them a service and genuine advice. That feels great.“
