Brace yourselves for more Gucci brights as the Italian brand has made its official return to the makeup world. The new lipstick collection has just dropped featuring a whopping 58 shades. There's the same abundance of vibrant colours we've come to expect from creative director Alessandro Michele, from bold reds to head-turning pinks and dramatic black, chosen with diversity and inclusion in mind.
As for the packaging, the new lipstick bullets come in Instagrammable gold tones featuring Art Deco motifs as well as turquoise and ivory colours adorned with pink rosebuds. The one consistency for every Gucci lipstick is a golden base.
And this is just the beginning. While the lipstick line has dropped first, a series of subsequent product launches is set to follow. It's a strategy that gives each makeup category its moment in the spotlight and allows Gucci's beauty offering to steadily grow in keeping with the brand's aesthetic.
