COSMO | Sofia Richie To Launch Fashion Label

Sofia Richie is making her design debut with a new fashion brand. The daughter of singer Lionel Richie and designer Diane Alexander will unveil the collection this summer. According to WWD, the label is titled "Sofia Stone" after what would have been Richie's middle names. It will debut in late August with a 12-piece collection that mirrors her own personal style, from bodysuits and crop tops to velvet high-waisted trousers and suits.

Richie has forged strong connections in the fashion industry after starring in campaigns for Michael Kors and Tommy Hilfiger. She's also taken to the runway for Dolce & Gabbana, Jeremy Scott and Kanye West‘s Yeezy Season 4 show.

The 20-year-old, of course, isn't the first Richie to turn her hand to design. Older sister Nicole Richie has founded two clothing and accessories brands: House of Harlow 1960 and her latest venture, Honey Minx. The sisters' father Lionel also has a home line at US store JCPenney. Meanwhile, Sofia's boyfriend, Scott Disick, recently launched his own fashion brand, Talentless, which includes expensive T-shirts, hoodies, and accessories.
